Last year, a series of LUTE Lockdown Lounge webinars examined how the luxury-travel industry should respond to the various crises precipitated by the unfurling pandemic. While the C-word continues to impact everything, this year’s reinstated LUTE Lounges will delve deeper into broader issues. (You can see a previous webinar, examining the challenges and opportunities facing the spa and wellness industry, here.)
It’s fitting, then, that on Earth Day we announce that the first LUTE Lounge of 2021 will in fact be a collaboration with eco-hotel experts Bouteco. Taking place on Thursday April 29 at 11am BST, this hour-long webinar will provide actionable insights into the innovative and impressive ways hotels can make sustainability a key part of their identity.
Speaking on the panel are:
Juliet Kinsman, founder of Bouteco and Condé Nast Traveller sustainability editor
Bill Bensley, hotel designer and founder of BENSLEY
Judy Kepher Gona, director and founder of Sustainable Travel & Tourism Agenda (STTA)
Case studies will be provided by:
Hans Pfister, president and co-owner of Cayuga Sustainable Hospitality
Nachson Mimran, chairman of The Alpina Gstaad and co-founder of to.org.
The event is moderated by LUTE founder John O’Ceallaigh and time will be made for audience questions at the end of the session.
